It started the way every great trip doesn't: 6 friends, 214 messages, 3 weeks of "let's do it!" — and zero bookings. One person made a spreadsheet. Nobody opened it. The trip died in the chat.
Meanwhile, the booking sites had their own tricks: a price that grew 26% by checkout, "convenience" fees for the inconvenience, and small hotels paying a quarter of their earnings in commission just to be seen.
So we built the platform we wished existed: one honest price, a planner the whole squad can vote on, and a fair deal for the people who actually host you.
